Family owned and managed since 1996, we have had the privilege and honor of taking care of our Mesa community, its loved ones, our own family, and friends.
Marta Logan, Owner, says, ‘I was extremely fortunate to be able to take care of both of my grandparents in my own assisted living homes. Watching my staff treat them just like their own parents gave me the comfort of knowing they were well cared for. I have the utmost respect for what my staff does for our residents and know they are the heart of my business.’ Marta earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare management from George Mason University. She continued her education at George Mason studying health systems administration with a focus on assisted living, while working at George Washington University Hospital as the Program Coordinator for the Cardiovascular department. Her knowledge of the healthcare system allows her to ensure the best possible care for her residents.

Our Extended Family Homes
Extended Family Assisted Living Homes are located between Gilbert and Lindsay, just north of McKellips in Mesa. Each of the Homes is licensed for 10 residents.
Extended Family Home – East

At Extended Family Assisted Living, we encourage our residents to be individuals; we do not have set schedules for getting up in the morning or going to bed at night, unless part of a care plan. In lieu of this our breakfast starts as early as 6 am and ends as late as 10 am, with breakfast freshly made for each resident. We cater to the needs and wants of each resident as they change through out their life. This home offers private and semi-private rooms.

Both of our homes have been built and are utilized to care for Dementia/Alzheimer’s residents. Each facility focuses on improving the activities of daily living of a Dementia/Alzheimer’s patients, which might have been forgotten in the progression of the disease. Each individual is given the time and encouragement needed to perform routine daily tasks. This home offers only private rooms.
